php - Class 'MongoId' not found in Laradock application -

using laradock (basically set og docker images laravel development), keep getting class 'mongoid' not found fatalthrowableerror errors when calling new \mongoid( $id ) in php.

this post class 'mongoid' not found (zend framework mongodb doctrine) suggests reason given error php mongo extension isn't enabled.

however, if @ phpinfo() output, can see mongodb section. doesn't mean it's enabled?

what else possibly cause error?

i assume using php 7 version.

in php 7 version new mongodb extension used.

so instead of legacy mongoid should use mongodb\bson\objectid
